Well October was a rush and we survived! The eclipse in Scorpio was a fascinating eclipse bringing us a chance to let go of the old and emerge refreshed.
The universe takes charge of your reality during an eclipse month, and points you onto the actual path you should be following, even if you veered off it. The change eclipses bring set us straight, turning you to face the right direction even if it’s the last thing you feel like facing or doing.
Scorpio is an intense sign as it wants transformation, for that focused control is necessary. The recent eclipse of the Sun brings about the birth of a new waxing Moon on steroids.
New Moons are a time to start new projects, this New Moon says if we are prepared to change our attitudes and let go of what is holding us back we can rebirth ourselves.
Transformation is not easy, but with determination it can happen. The nice thing about an eclipse of the Sun is the Moon, our need shadows our ego, the Sun. What a brilliant time to leave ego in the shadows and become need driven.
This eclipse is ruled by Mars who has just gone retrograde in Gemini. Action and mischief can be a theme for this placement. As Mars is still in his station and moving very slowly, November month may find us feeling tired more often than usual. The eclipse energy will push us through. Have a power nap if you are feeling as flat as a punctured tire.
We do need to be aware of how we communicate with each other as Mars in Gemini can get impatient and snippy at times. This could trigger impatience and irritation leading to arguments.
It is also a time to be aware of tricksters; people could glibly lie to your face in a convincing manner. If you are entering into any contract or deal, read the small print and avoid being impulsive.
We may find ourselves delving into more than one project and end up in a bit of a pickle. Try to focus on seeing what you are doing through, it is common for your focus to wonder with this active planet in the most active air sign. The solution is to push through a project or new idea, avoiding distractions and boredom.
Mars in Gemini triggers our brain cells so this is a great time to pursue a course or study a subject that has peaked your interest. It is a short course that will hold your interest more than a long involved course. This is a brilliant placement for writers, those words will flow, and writing will be a pleasure.
The last Total eclipse of the Moon for 3 years will happen on the 8th of November, sadly it will not be visible in South Africa but we may see a super blood Moon the evening before and after as the Moon passes through the infra red shadow close to Earth.
A feeling of heaviness may be felt during the eclipse which will start at 10am and finish at 4pm. This eclipsed Moon is in Taurus the practical focused earth sign which the Moon loves to be in.
What we started just after the solar eclipse now culminates and we can focus on really perfecting and rounding it off. This is the time where we need to engage our vital creative energy and own our ego. We must put in the work securing the transformation we began two weeks or so prior to this lunar eclipse.
A little warning that this eclipse may come with a bit of a blow as it is conjunct Uranus. I see Uranus as alerting us to the truth that we at times avoid seeing. Well now a sudden dose of clarity will come out way. Truth from Uranus is never fun, but I see it as a universal kick in the rear end, a wakeup call to action.
This will affect the Taurus area of your charts; this is where we need to feel secure physically, materially and financially. This is great time for you to consult your astrologer.
Finally Saturn is direct and in November will be moving at his normal speed, we will no longer feel as restricted as we did. We can now focus on the innovative energy Saturn in Aquarius gifts us.
Jupiter will retrograde back into Pisces, then station before going direct on the 23rd of November. This is a little frustrating as Jupiter in Pisces has no boundaries and just wants to grow. But if we use this time to see through the fog in our brains we can access a deeper truth about life.
A warning about Jupiter in Pisces is that we feel the need to get mixed up in everybody’s business. After all Pisces has no boundaries and Jupiter just wants to be part of everything. No matter how good your intentions are they may not be welcome and you could find your input dismissed. Walk away when you feel you are interfering and be kind to those who mean well.
With these two giants leaving their retrograde cycle we will feel lighter and less restricted. Challenges that came our way during their retrograde cycle can now be resolved. I am happy to say after huge challenges this year, November is a month where we can adventure onto the right path and feel more optimistic as challenging as it may be.
MEDICALLY SPEAKING
With the Sun, ruler of our vital health, in Scorpio it makes me think an Astrologer made the month of November ‘Movember Month’ a month where bring awareness of prostate health is promoted.
Scorpio in health astrology rules the prostate gland as well as all organs of excretion. So this is the perfect time to have your prostate checked.
Scorpio also rules the lower bowel and the anus. Bowel cancer is more common than we realize so it may be a lifesaving decision to get a check up with your Gastroenterologist.
With the ruler of Scorpio, Mars being retrograde it is a great time to make sure your vulnerable excretory organs are healthy.
My doctor was saying that so many of us ignore a symptom and only go to get it checked when it becomes a problem that is no longer easily managed. Let’s all become more aware of our health and take advantages of the simple tests and procedures that can help prevent morbid disease.
I wish you all a healthy and productive November.
