Can you believe it is nearly Christmas! With October being rather challenging we need to keep our heads up to get through to the holiday season.

I have noticed over the many year of practicing Astrology, when Jupiter is in Gemini he behaves like Mercury. This retrograde cycle Jupiter in Gemini happening has been no different.

Jupiter started this retrograde journey in October and this energy will continue for the next 3 Months. Jupiter retrograde in Gemini acts like a retrograde Mercury on Steroids. As he moves slowly it can give us time to see what challenges he brings our way.

Whichever sign Mercury is in will affect the type of situations we will be facing. Mercury has been in Scorpio and this can bring lots of change as well as intensity in nature and shifts of emotions. Many people have passed on, we need to shift and look at what needs to change or be eliminated to better our lives.

Relationships are very strained and separation will be on the cards, if it is a toxic environment that you are working in, or a strained relationship now is the time to face the situation and see how you can manage it better, or bring to an end that which is no longer serving you.

This Month Mercury will move into Sagittarius, this sign is ruled by Jupiter, so we now have Jupiter and Mercury behaving like each other. Neither planet enjoys the signs they are in, very uncomfortable but rely on each other to get ahead.

We will feel unsettled during Mercury’s journey through Sagittarius where Mercury becomes excessive in communication, sharing of knowledge, a strong desire to study and travel. He will go into his station and then retrograde in the last week of November.

This won’t be fun as both of these planets will support each other with a result that is magnified. Life will become confused and tangled up. It will show us areas that are in desperate need of revision. Confusion, excess and generally too much happening all in one go is what we will face.

On the bright side, we will be exposed to situations that need reform, some may have to relook at the situation they are in and revise ways to manage the situation. Others may find they are returning to careers they have left and many will re-connect with blasts from the past simply return to a destination they feel happy in.

If you are a student this is a time to see what it is you need to do to better you studies. For others looking into courses that will help you grow and benefit your profession will be very productive. Some students may opt for a shift in their studies, changing their course into an area that better suites them. I personally have been super challenged and the only solution is change in lifestyle, with so many planets in retrograde motion I am able to revise how to make these changes.

Saturn will be going direct after many months in a retrograde motion this month. Saturn requires us to relate to the above affairs and bring about structure. It is never an easy journey with Saturn as whichever area in your life he is affect, for astrologers, the house he is going through will need change and restructuring, no matter how unpleasant , if you resist the changes then you will find yourself in a troubled uncomfortable situation.

Saturn in Pisces can be inclined to bring about emotional reaction to unpleasant situations and suffering brought due to other people’s actions and words. To survive this we need to learn the very difficult lesion by dis-identifying from negativity.

My goodness this is all rather bleak, but it is happening and I feel this a time for deep personal cleansing to give us the power to change the destiny of life before us. Many will be forced to into decisions that are unpleasant, don’t fight this rather see the benefit of dealing with the unpleasant tasks as step into another direction that will be better suited to your lifestyle.

MEDICALLY SPEAKING

It certainly is a time to de-stress ourselves. Oversensitivity to the above energy is taking a lot away from us, many of us are feeling as if we are at the end of our tether.

A lifestyle change is one of the necessary tools that will help manage the stress, one very important method is to literally take a personal time out.

Stop the kneejerk reaction to check you cell every time a client or work message pings after hours. Whatever it is can wait until work time. You can train those who do not respect your boundaries to realize they have to wait until a reasonable day or time.

Your body needs the correct food to boost your energy, but when and what you eat can have an impact on your energy. A big meal will make you feel sluggish because you are using energy to digest all this food instead of powering your body.
